note that the final renders do not use all the masks, they only use glos and spec (except for the ingame screenshots ofcourse) because i don't have a fancy dota shader
i also noticed that the image links sometimes go down, so i added the 4 main renders in the attachment

what is the misc slot?
nyx assassin has a head back misc and weapon
if i take a look at the model and textures
the whole back, kneepads ,shoulderpads, and saddle are in 1 texture and fbx "armor"
is all of this together the back?
or is this back+misc
and what's misc then?

got confirmed, might be interesting for other people:
Nyx has an extra 256x256 space on his combined texture page just in case we need an additional item that clearly doesn't belong to his armor, weapon or helmet. You are welcome to use it
We can give that slot higher poly budget too if needed

Yes, the kneepads, lower back, and armor are all one set, and go into the back slot. All champions have a "misc" slot I belive, which is just an item that you can place wherever you want.

don't know how much I m allowed to stick out (compared to the original)
here's my current stuff:
tritest with the default weapon armor, on his feet
280 tris for 1 side
so cant put much on his legs/feet ( multiply with 6)
here without the extra stuff on his blade and kneepads shoulders

The hanging bells or objects are on the right track. Something there is really neat those joints are fun cloth sims so they auto swing when you bind things to them. Anyway, keep it up!
there are always triangle artifacts showing up
when i split smoothing groups it gets better, but then i have those ugly seams

Also, add some kind of border. Maybe remove the wires? The presentation shots for the workshop should be targeted towards the players, not valve.

I'm glad you like it,
I was quite surprised myself when people told me it looked good (and those people most of the time always say my stuff is bad)
and that moment when I applied mask1 and 2 ingame was just so awesome
spec and gloss add so much (compared to diffuse only)
really loved this contest (and the timing was perfect, if it had been announced a few weeks later I probably wouldn't have participated.
