the broodmother has been used and abused. Here`s a quicky concept, will update with geometry soon. The idea behind this one being the broodmother was once used as a means of finding ancient pathways through caves and abandoned mines. hope you like!
I dunno man, looks like you're just throwing a bunch of candles on her. Try to get a little more creative with this and do more than just candles on the head, candles on the legs, candles on the body.
Here are some variations Ive been fiddling with, number 2 being a canaries cage being built into her backpiece (for warning her captors against toxic gases in the depths of their mines), Im not yet happy with it, but I like the idea more and more as i think about it. So Im going to play with it more. keep in mind (like the head) all of these will be candle-a-fied! and like the head, Will mainly consist of oxidized bronze.
Let me know what you think, more variations to come!
really looks like you've got a good concept developing here. i especially like the canary cage idea.
only things that i'd suggest is to remove the candle from her head since its detracting from the look of her helmet and keep in mind that her lets do move around a fair bit so those candles are going to look like they should be flying off. I'd maybe try some leg irons since that fits with the prisoner theme though i'm not sure how easy it would be to actually implement.
Looking awesome dude, I just worry that you are spending too long in the concpet stage when there is only about 2 weeks to go. Keep up the good work though.
