Not long left for the competition but I'll be joining forces with TeeStock. Worked with him for a few years now and he's an awesome artist.
We've chosen Meepo as our hero! Below are Tom's initial ideas so let us know what you think. I've began boxing a few of the items out so I'll post some 3D WIP's soon.

Bet it will be a challenge to model the low version if u go with Trickery or Artful lol
Make Beats sweat! xD
I like Screwlose/horder Meepo and the skull-painted frying pan
In all seriousness I like the vibes jewel thief is giving off. But don't let that scare you off from the hobo set. You really seem to have your heart set on hobo, so in the end I say you should go for that one.
don't forget the silouette!
That said I really do love that "artful meepo" hat...
Hey Guys, cheers for the awesome comments. I hope I will do the concept some justice, so the pressures on! Thought I should post how its shaping up. I've started to quickly box out some of the backpack, but Toms not finalised the concept yet. Hopefully I'll have the time to have the lowpoly and unwrapping all done ready for the weekend to get all the sculpting and texturing underway. Everything is still WIP so colours will most likely be changing. I've also made the low poly weapon so I'll post that up soon.
You'll notice there are a few changes since the original concept as Toms refined a few things. He'll probably post something up tomorrow for you guys to look at.
Cheers for looking!
Here's an update for the Meepo - Hobo set. He's packing plenty of liqour/ vessels for carrying liquor, and a banjo that he'll busk with for money to buy liquor. This Meepo's as much about getting his hands on some sauce as he is grabbing crystals! Recently i've been mostly looking at readablility of shapes using tones and silhouette. Specific details, hues and asset placement will likely change on the fly as we go, but we're happy with this final direction. As Beats works his magic, i'll be developing the more popular items that you guys showed a liking for. Again, thanks for all the support!
