Hi there, this is my first high poly model for class, I chose a mace from Skyrim. We're going to bake it down to a normal map later. I tried making the runes more noticeable but they don't seem to be from a distance. Let me know what you think!

I also think softening / angling their edges more will make them stand out a lot more.
