[Dota 2] - Naga Siren - Deep Nautilus

Hello,

My character will be the Naga Siren. My idea is more of a "functional" set of armor, with new items for the head, tail, armor, and weapon if I have the time. Definitely need to make the weapon more interesting.

Also, I am not sure if alpha is available for the hair? Ive read in a couple places if it isn't in the original textures I should shy away from it.

I think she does allow alpha support someone posted an image of who has it and who doesn't and if I remember she was one of them that does.

Really nice and clean concept did you by chance use the model and painted over it?
I noticed the lower half of her looks like triangles.

Nice work either way, it was smart to use the model in that way.

Yea image fault posted is what I saw, so yea looks like it's a no go on alpha

Looking at the list DashXero compiled http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1690681&postcount=242 it doesn't look like Naga Siren has alpha support.

BTW, really digging the concept!

Thanks for the kind words, and thank you for the alpha research assistance. Ill drum up a alternative no alpha head, I had a feeling it was futile.

Awesome concept! Really digging the colour scheme, nice bold shapes. They should translate well in game. Question, is the hair/Mane going to have a sea weed look about it?

Oh and yes to the question on if I painted over the model. I just took a screen grab and painted over it.:)

I WAS planning on doing a seaweed hair thing. I am probably going to revise it to be more of a bride of frankenstein seaweed hairstyle to avoid the alpha issue.

Personally I would keep the hair the same colour as her head fin usually has. There is orange seaweed after all.

One thing I love about every single Naga Siren design is that they dont cover the breasts at all. That is rather fortunate, because no one would buy the items otherwise

Here is the new hair idea to avoid alpha cards: No different hair colors atm tho:) Still need to do a more interesting sword then I need to get to modeling, time is short! Thanks for looking.

I would change the inner color of the armor it looks to much as her skin!
