Hello!
I thought I'd post my most recent project I've been creating on here so everyone can have a look and give me some feedback. The project was just something to keep me up to date with things and to also help strengthen my modelling skills as I'm more of a FX guy and have been for the past 2-3 years without ever doing any proper modelling/texturing.
It's still a work in progress but any feedback would be much appreciated.
You can see my most recent video I created here -

Thanks very much!

You're off to an OK start, but you definitely need to study how UV's are done properly to help you with your stretched texture problems.
Another thing I noticed almost immediately is how thin the trunks walls are. They must be made thicker. As it stands, it looks like it could cave in at any moment.
Keep going!
The UV problem on the tree is something I tried to fix and it doesn't look as bad in UDK and in Max as it does in the video for some reason but I'll add it to my ever growing to so list!
If you think of any more problems that need addressing please feel free to let me know. I'm also taking ideas for a new project to do once this one is finished as well so any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thanks again for the feedback,
Jack
