I wanted to share this personal project with you all. I'm looking forward for comments, critiques, suggestions to make this piece better. Thank you in advance
Hey guys, sorry I got confused and posted my WIP in here (late night and tired). So, here is the final version. Updates I did:
- Light up the shadows a bit, almost 100% black shadows are no good.
- Tweak the lighting a bit more (hard to see but its there)
- I raised the values of the Door cubemap a bit more so you can actually see it.
- Tweak some post-processing values to enhance the look and feel of the scene
- Killed the plants shot
Well done. Pure sci-fi stuff. The only crit is lighting. It's a bit flatten. You have a great sun light here so I thing there is no need to use big artificial lights here. In that case it's going to have more contrast.
Great looking interior! These days, 3D Artist should have grasp on graphic design. Your attention to details clearly proves my point. Thanks for sharing!
sweet stuff man! how did you achieve this kind off "gradient" in some of your textures ?
I use a personal technique that I basically blur some of the edges once I place the "Base color" so that way the spec map can shine a bit around the edges. Its kind of like having wear out edges and you want that to shine, but since my textures are clean, I blur just a bit the edges of the main color. Its one of those things that it just have to feel right to use it.

Thank you for your critique, I am definitely taking it in consideration
