Alright everyone! The team has decided on the paintovers and we've already started working. Each member is assigned a certain body part, so they may post in the thread as well. Don't be fooled, we all get to work on eachother's stuff so there's no problems with the models having inconsistencies. Here is the paintover:


The style in the paintover looks like something Atlantean (accidentally) but is intended to be more like a Scarab. The colors are definitely subject to change.

I've already started work on the helmet. Nothing too fancy yet, but working on getting the silhouette down and interesting before moving on.

We'll be checking our work constantly and trading it amongst ourselves to make sure the model looks consistent. If it doesn't seem like it'll work out, we'll try something different.

Ok, here's an update for the paintover and the helmet model. The weapon is being redesigned-ish but keeping the same basic principle.

AGH! School! So finally we've been able to work on some more stuff and the other team member worked to re-design the weapon. Here's the design:

I know the deadline is coming up, but I feel like we'll still be able to submit in time. Texturing we're allowing ourselves a week so that'll be ample time. Anyways, the other two team members are working on the legs (which have been modeled) and back piece. I'll try and post more regularly.
