Hello everyone, I have been reading from this forum for a few weeks now and just registered to enter this contest as I am confident enough that I could create something after learning modeling stuff here and from other sites. I wish to learn more from this experience and will be posting some concept drawings drawn by my friend soon.

Here's my WIP as of the moment. I decided not to upload the hand drawn images since the final created pieces were altered while modeling.
Weapon and Offhand are done. Might have to change the back item since it overlaps with the weapon in most animations. The original weapon overlaps when animating too.
Will post screenshots later. I will upload to store once I get the others done.
Dota 2 has a slightly cartoony style to help with readability of the characters. you might want to try and match that style better.
Here are the images of items I finished.
Off-hand
Weapon
I will post more detailed images without the character later.
Offhand
Weapon
maybe you should tweak the white off the offhand item more to the blue side like his vest or the little bottle on his belt,
so it'll fit his color scheme better and it's a bit less bright
I could only make total 3 items in this set.
Nice work on he hobo set!
I am also starting work on a set for Brewmaster and I have a technical question for you: How did you attach the back item to his back? I attached mine to the single "mug4" bone but when Brewmaster moves, it moves in a strange way. My item is also a "rigid" item like yours so I did a very simple skinning.
Did you attach it to another bone? Or to several?
Thanks and good luck with your set.
