I'm having trouble getting an AO bake with xNormal. This is my first time using the program and the low quality test normal map it rendered blows away Maya/Mudbox hands down. But my AO map has absolutely no shading. It's pure white. This is the low poly mesh I'm baking. (bummed I missed some of those hard angles on the silhouette, :to do)
This mesh is about 1536 tall. Does uh size matter? :poly122: Or is there just not enough proximity for occlusion?
Also this was my first try at a rock and retopology which I did w/o the benefit of any plugins or scripts. That retopo took damn near five hours! lol How slow is that? 1450 tris, six UV shells. :cheers:
