Taking a break from my skeleton king set for a while, going to start work on one for silencer, will probably finish and submit both to the contest.

Only thing I'm realizing now is that the bandages may cause some issues with the mouth in the portrait, anyone know how to get your hands on the protrait files?

If the bandages do cause issues I will just modify them into something that hangs straight down rather than wrapping around his face so the mouth can just move behind them, either way having his mouth covered is part of the concept.

The idea of silencer having his mouth covered by some bandages sounds like it would fit his name.
And I admit I had similar thought as well.

Aside voice sounds not being muffed, he's not a mute, or the silenced one.
He is silencer, because he silences other people.

Perhaps drop the bandage?

I guess I could ditch the bandages but I probably should've actually stated my concept lol. The silencer for this set has advanced his magic to such a level that he no longer needs to speak his spells, he can communicate telepathically and silence others without uttering a word.

The chest piece is going to look like a screaming mouth and the part of the robe that hangs down will be replaced by an unrolled scroll with some runes on it.

I think I'll probably just go ahead and modify the bandages so that they are further from the skin so nothing gets messed up when he moves his mouth.

Armor update, probably going to change the shoulders, they turned out pretty crap. Also it's hard to make a decent looking chest when for some reason they limit you to 550 tris when the default is 1054.....It's making me consider just not making a chest since you only need to make 3 items for the contest anyways.

Got some inspiration while sleeping last night, scrapping the current chest design and reworking the hat texture, going to make full battle silencer with heavily embossed hat and embossed breastplate with big shoulders and no robe-type crap to lower polies. I think I can pull it off and still maintain the right sort of silhouette.

silencer as a ninja just makes sense. he throws a giant shuriken for crying out loud.

my only problem is the the two side pieces on his head look sort of big and akward. they need to be trimmed to be a bit more sleek and ninja.

Thanks for the feedback! I will consider changing the sideplates a bit! I wish I had more polies to give them a more interesting shape or something, but I'm literally exactly on the poly limit XD

Hey Zambash, just wanted to say I REALLY like the bandage across his mouth, and the name "Silence Doctrine". It makes sense and gives the effect that he is part of some creepy Order. Don't worry about the fact that he talks, the sets don't have to be 100% true to their lore. Great idea.

Also, I haven't actually uploaded any of the items yet, just got ingame shots from preview before actually uploading, and I was wondering is there a way to view your whole set in game or just 1 piece at a time?
