im currently working on this scene here. i'm thinking about to add more plants and other stuff. maybe you can give me some tips and if you like to see more i could show you the textures and the models
Also, one thing that might be a bit more appealing, that pedestal you have your scene on, make it a weathered brick wall or something more interesting than a flat lambert looking thing.
here is a small update of my stone wall
i used polypaint and spotlight in zbrush to add the stone texture. now i will use moss and stuff to let it look weathered. after that i will bake the texture on the lowpoly model.
Lookin good, for the rocks I'd say try to concentrate the moss where the rocks meet and there would be more water retention, and add slight vegetation to these areas as well. I like the fall look.
what you can see here is a little testbake. its the lowpoly with a 512 Diffuse and Normal map but with a unperformant unwrap...so the texture looks a little bit blury ^^
But i think its not looking that bad and i believe im on the right way.

so now i have the final version of the stone wall for you with Diffuse, Normal and spec. Im happy with the result and i think its looking very fine. In the next step i will add this wall in my tree sene. After that i will make some more branches.

would you use a 2d texture and planes for the branches or would you model it ?
