Hey guys, I've decided to start a sketchbook thread here primarily to get some feedback.
I've recently finished my degree in Games Design at university, and now seek to get better and better, with a goal of breaking into the video games industry whatever way possible!
In the future, I will post work both here and in the "Polycount Showcase" thread to hopefully gain constructive criticism and guidance.
For now I will just post a few samples of work that I've been doing recently, so feel free to comment away at those
Thanks,
- Ricky
Sculpted from normal 3D sphere in ZBrush with Dynamesh.Created using ZSpheres and Dynamesh in ZBrush.Created using ZSpheres and Dynamesh in ZBrush.Taken from the male anatomy above, testing Fibremesh. The skin shader makes him look dead (and the white eyes), but I improve the shader in the next render:Polypainted and Fibremeshed version of the female anatomy above.

Sculpted from a sphere using a combination of Dynamesh, QRemesher and manually retopologising with the 'Topology' brush in ZBrush 4R4.
'Elle Driver' from 'Kill Bill Vol.1'. She had hair and a bit of an upper body, but problems occurred that made the hair render like absolute crap, and the body to render black, so here is just the greyscale sculpt of her head until I fix her up.
And same thing again, without the eye-patch sub-tool. Sculpted from a sphere with Dynamesh and QRemesher and custom topology with the 'Topology' brush.
Hair was sculpted using a ZSphere base that was manipulated and sculpted over.
And now to add to the collection, 'O'Ren Ishii' (Lucy Liu), 'Heisenberg' (Bryan Cranston), and Russell Howard.
Her face looks odd but somehow close to how she looks in real life somewhat. Sculpted from a normal 3D Sphere as normal.
Fibremesh used for his beard. He also has a hat and glasses but I decided to show the render without to show his face more.
Sculpted as normal, but because I couldn't get his hair in ZBrush I decided to draw over this render in Photoshop CS6 to illustrate how it should have looked. The sculpt just has a much cleaner hairstyle, unlike Russell Howard in real life.
