Chrome color bug?

Started doing this a few weeks ago... couldn't find the source or the fix
Only related info on the web was appending '--enable-monitor-profile' to chrome's command-line but that didn't work

Anyone had this?

    U'r right, images r shown somewhat differently than what their creator originally intended them to but this is far too drastic and has started only a few weeks ago.

    No clue what could be cause it so far

    I would bet, that it is an issue with gamma correction. I found this which displays the differences of gamma correction handling on different browsers/OS/fileformats.

    It's more than gamma, the colors themselves r muted. Changing the global parameter thru nVidia doesn't fix the Chrome images, and over-brightens everything else :\

    I've tried re-installing the browser to no avail. The beta, which is supposed to have color support, doesn't seem to change anything either but I may be missing some new setting there. Anyways... keep any ideas coming...
