Meet the main character of Egg, Egg.
As you can see he is a chubby little guy who one day hopes to discover who he is as he makes his way though dangerous jungles, swamps, and fiery hell holes!

Cute idea, but the egg right now doesn't look like an egg, it looks like a stone. I've never known any sort of egg to get such rough small cracks. A lot of reptile eggs tend to be more "leathery", and I can understand not necessarily wanting to go that route, but it definitely looks like rock right now. Get some reference, and see how most eggs (and partially hatched eggs) tend to have larger, straight/angular cracks. That's something to look at both with the cracks in the shell and with the edges of your holes the legs are coming out of, which right now are reading as unusually rounded.

Yes it is overly smooth like a rivers pebble, there is noise on the shell but it didn't transfer well into the final visual, much detail was lost along the way.

Thanks for feed back, I'll keep your comments in mind as I prepare for the final touch ups and bake.
