I've been working on the Arenanet art test, here's where I'm at:

UDK with terrible lighting

Currently at 2351 tris in 3ds max. I've still got a lot of work left to do, the wood is all placeholder stuff and I'm planning on putting in lots of foliage. I'd really appreciate all the crits you can throw at me, I want this thing to be really high quality.
Btw, does anyone have any advice on making the UDK lighting look less terrible? This is the first I've used UDK.

Tweaked the textures some more and added a big of morning glory growing up the side of the wall. Still lots of work to do, thinking of revisiting the stone as well. Any thoughts/feedback?
But imo, a bit of detail wouldn't hurt! like add some sudivs in the roof and make some on the tiles pop out, or make some of the roks in the wall in volume.
Sam thing for the vegetation and the wood planks. Break out the rectangular look of it and it will look even greater!

Thanks for the advice, I've gone back to max to try and get some better shapes in the structure. Also got some alpha'd roof tiles, though I haven't stuck em in yet. I'll be redoing the stone again, the tiling is far too noticeable.
