Yay ! Don't know if you have them but I found two really cool refs when I was browsing for mine :
The first one could be a good pose idea, the prom queen ready for the party taking a self shot with an iPhone ^^ ( but more "sexy" and feminine in the pose ). And the makeup is awesome too.
OH MY! I was just googlin for some references but did not find those.. glad you shared them with me! Thanks!! anyway, that other one looks really scary!! That was one awesome make up job! XD
I started doing the base mesh for sculpting and brought it to zbrush to start experimenting on forms.. I am thinking of going stylized and I'm referencing Cesar Brandao and Andrew Hickinbottom's works.
Update 1.0

So here is the initial my concept for the Prom Queen Zombie:
I think that the pumpking is really useless and will only hide the hips, doing a strange silhouette. You could integrate it in the dress design in a better way, or totally remove it from the dress and put it elsewhere. Maybe in the hair ? A nice haircut with pumpkins taking control of the brain ?^^
Anyway, found some cute dresses :
PS : tell me if it bothers you that I put pics in your thread ^^.
I had to change my concept because I couldn't get the look that I want for my "prom queen" zombie. It was kinda frustrating really. I finally went for the "Female Diver" zombie. Here is her before becoming a zombie. hehe
Update 2.1

I can't believe how much time have passed since my last update. I've been very busy with work and couldn't squeeze working on this character. Well, I have to thank this weekend for letting me have some time to work on this.
I've changed the proportions and make her more realistic, deviating from my initial idea to make her very stylized. I thought of going cartoony but maybe it's not appropriate for characters that need to look scary.
@Texelion: I don't mind that you put pics in my thread! Actually, thanks for your suggestions, you gathered better references for me!
You should go back to ure prome concept,Use extruded plane to start out the dress in a main 3d program.U have some thing solid here.Get back to the original design.
