[Dota 2] - Nyx Assassin - Grace of Nyx

"The new Nyx Assassin is risen."

This is going to be an item set for Nyx Assassin based on the idea of a legacy armor handed down from one Nyx Assassin to another. I'm working alongside Ethos to create this armor. We wanted to have this idea of the an armor that would reflect the Goddess Nyx and at the same time have it have a lot of wear and tear from the countless assassinations that the Nyx Assassin has performed. We hope to have a lot of fun on this set and hope that the community enjoys it.

Absolutely fantastic ! The only thing is that you might be able to push the shapes of the different armor pieces a b it further away from the original. But I love the theme you have going on, I'm excited to see how well it translates into 3D! Best of luck!

To be honest a lot of it reminds me of my concept. The wrappings on his back and the two-horned helmet, most prominently...

Yeah, we saw that. We're going to be doing some other things with the wraps but we know we wanted cloth. We're leaning on a sort of "legacy armor" concept and being the zealot Nyx Assassin is, cloth felt appropriate. The helmet is made of two separate plates and was intended to be a throw back to Anub'arak from Warcraft 3. But I can see where you'd think that haha.

I like the detail in the sketch, interested to see this in 3D. The quick sketch of the elliptical horn to me is more interesting than the spike that is currently on the main drawing.

Hey all. We've both been pretty busy as of late but are still working on our set. Getting the final silhouettes out the door and have started modeling. We're hoping to have a rough model to post within the week! I'll be finishing some color variations shortly too so the texturing will go smoothly.
