Personal assignment, to get all crazy with normal maps. All time went to modeling the high poly, specific to normal map. 2.5 hours of modeling, excluding map extraction time. Design here is a marmoset grab, with normal map applied on a plane.

I know this is more about normal maps, but I would do more with that spec. At the moment it just looks like a monochrome version of the diffuse map. You can introduce colors and little scratches and things that really make the metal read a lot better.

diffuse map says stucco while specular/gloss say metal.
modeling itself looks solid though.
