Shader - Minneart shading in Shadow

Heya to all,

I have a small question, generally speaking, when it comes to Minneart shading, is it OK or not to have it fed into my Ambient/Shadowed part of the shader?

I was doing some research a long time ago, and noticed a disparity where some people fed the Minneart shading model to the Lighting only output (so anything exposed to the Light Vector would bring up effect) while others included it into the Ambient/Shadowed output too (so when the mesh is casting shadows, you still get the Min effect).

Since I'm a doofus, anyone mind telling me if this is OK or not? Cheers!
