When I render the lighting for my landscape terrain I get these annoying black spots, which I guess i s shadows, but they look terrible.
Is there a way to fix this, or maybe to turn off self shadowing on the landscape mesh?
I'm using a dominant directional light.

What happens if you turn on the cascaded shadow maps in the light's properties and go close to the blobs? Do they disappear (and are they replaced with proper dynamic shadows)?
