I wanted to redo a model I made some time ago, but whenever I use undo the polygons changes colors and looks wierd. Is it flipped normals or something?
It was in 3ds max and I'm almost certain it was caused by me messing around with the "Edit Normals" modifier. That also turned out to be the solution too.
@perna Ah yeah, I totally forgot to mention that. I'm useing 3ds max 2013.
I tried doing what you suggested, in several different ways.(exporting, making a new scene and importing it, closing and opening max again, importing the obj and exporting it as obj again in a new scene.) It's still corrupt though.
The mesh is fine up to the point where I use undo, so far that is the only thing that triggers it.
@GeeDave I actually did mess around with the edit normal modifier, to try and flip them in the same direction. I will try and mess around with that and see what happens!
