Ok so for my next project I wanted to do an organic model an decided upon a pig. here is the lowPoly mesh I have right now. It subdivides good so it should be fine for sculpting, but it will need to be rigged so that it can be posed. I think my poly count is ok too.
First question is, I have never rigged anything so if there is anything visible that needs to be fixed for proper deformation, please let me know.
Second, should I model the gums/teeth and tongue. I don't know if I really want to delve into trying to animate it right know. Also, I have watched a few pig vids and unless it is eating, they don't really open their mouths that much. Also, it seems that in general, you never see their teeth because of their fat lips, so maybe I could get away with just a tongue? What do you think?
Finally, this pig will have slight peach fuzz, so not a hairy pig. I suppose I could get away with just "smooth" skin, but it would probably look better with a bit of fuzz showing in the light. Any suggestions on how to go about this? I don't even know where to start.
Thanks

normal map looks a little intense around the face/legs though
is there a high res sculpt you baked from to show us?
And the sculpt with/without diffuse map:
I finished up the rigging for the moment, its nothing fancy but serves it's purpose. I also smoothed out a couple of problem areas in the sculpt. I played with blurring the tats and managed to get a nice subtle ink bleed effect. Thanks for the suggestion.
So here is a posed shot in marmoset:
Unless anyone else has some good suggestions though, I think I'm going to have to call this done for now, I have 2 weeks left in my portfolio emphasis class to get a couple more projects done; They are printing a class art book. Sure had fun with this project though.
