I am working on a character and following this tutorial to bake my textures
http://eat3d.com/free_zbrush_xnormal_pipe
I have done this before and did it successfully but every time I bake my textures in X normal It doesn't workout. I totally forgot how I did it. The thing is in the tutorial the guy is using an older ver. of Zbrush. So I had to experiment using Zbrush 4R2 and I did it before. But now I can't seem to do it because I believe I'm missing a step.
If you guys know how to do it successfully using the tutorial above please let me know, if you know an easier way to bake diffuse maps please let me know

Instead just export your OBJ with polypaint turned on (no UVs or texture needed), and in xnormal use the "bake highpoly's vertex colors" option (and uncheck 'ignore per-vertex color" on the high res mesh).

As far as baking in zbrush in case you still need to know how;
Tool: Texture Map: New From Polypaint
Tool: Texture Map: Clone Txtr
Texture: Export
