[DOTA2] Pudge - Relax, I'm a doctor
Hey guys,
this thread is for my entry of the contest.
Even if the name of the set might point towards an comedian set, it is not supposed to be one.
[1] General Idea/Concept
The general idea is to give Pudge some doctor's tools. Not like a real doctor, so it's not ment to be a funny set, more like the dark/creepy blood splattered doctor which comes at you with the words "Relax... I'm a doctor!"
More about that in section [3].

[3] Lore and Background
Everyone knew Pudge as the butcher, a name that caused fear amongst the people. They also knew that they should stay away from him, far far away. That knowledge made it hard for the butcher to get some of his beloved fresh meat, but what could he do? He couldn't live without it anymore! That was when he came up with the greatest plan he could ever think of. He used the tools of the last person he ate - doctor's tools. That way he wanted to get close to his beloved meat again to satisfy his hunger!

The Mouth Protector
This is a mask for Pudge to make is cutting "clean" even thought the proctector is splattered with blood.

This is a off-hand weapon, a saw to dismember bodies nice and easy. Again this tool won't be too clean.

Already been done and it was rejected.
That was rejected because it was submitted incorrectly. Those items dont even look game rez.
I think those shots are high poly beauty shots not the ones he uploaded (it doesn't let you upload items over the poly limit) I don't think it would really matter as it doesn't fit with Pudge anyway, Items for Pudge need to be brutal, "butcher-like" torn/ripped worn etc I just don't think a doctor items (as brutal as they could be) would fit him, in the same way as a brutal looking clown or dentist costume wouldn't.
Valve does not mark items incompatible because they don't fit the game well, it means there is some underlying issue such as IP issues or the item being incorrectly submitted.

ah, all right, those I'm still inclined to believe the doctor set was submitted wrong. I spend a lot of time reporting stuff on the workshop and from what I've seen people who post fancy renders that clearly aren't in game tend to not actually put in the effort to optimize or compile.
In addtion, idk if those sunglasses could possibly be an issue with CyborgMatt but I doubt that.
It was Matt's idea tbh. They were submitted way early though before any rules were set.
I saw that set before and it is not the way that I'm heading to with my set. First of all that set there looks way to modern, second of all it looks way to clean and light. As I states before my set will not be a regular "hey look at me, I'm a fancy doctor" set. I know that it has to look bloody and brutal that is why I pointed out that it is not a comedian set. There is nothing that I hate more than a Pudge in a clown's costume or something like that. If I get the time, I'll upload my first drafts for you to judge later this day.
