Main thing I noticed was the alignment of text & images. Don't centre align text, it's harder to read. Try to have the images within the content section and not going outside the content section. If there one thing I've learnt about web design its that alignment and readability is everything! Finally place a image/background image for the header. Just adds more to the page.
