Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin RC

I started this project because I really love the older Rc cars Tamiya made back in the day, and I always wanted to do a RC in 3D
For this project I chose the Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin, just because it looks badass with the classic ford body and the huge wheels.

Looking good so far. Only knit-picking thing I noticed is that in the concept the corners of the raised ridges that run along the outside corner of the wheel are crisper than the corners of the depressed areas around the outside. Does that make sense? I hope so ...

Anyway, keep it up!

I know what you mean, the edges on the real one are harder right? :>
I did that so it make a nice bake later on, maybe I could make them a tad harder though.

The recess should have a much softer curve. There is a significant change of depth in the reference, but in your model the distance between the ridge and recess is the same on the middle and on the outsides.
