Problems with mental ray
Hello! I was working on a model and the I wanted to test some fur on mental ray, when I try to do a preview render with mental ray, the cd unit (I don't know if it is called like that) launches and then maya crashes. I am using a macbook pro with maya 2012. My file is a low poly character with normals, and color (nothing to fancy). Before having trouble with this file I did have an issue with another character, but in this case I could not even open the file, whenever I launched maya and tried to open the .mb (should've save in ma) the cd unit launched and maya instantly crashed. The funny thing is that this do not happen with a new file with simpler meshes (sphere, cube etc...) Can anyone help me with this one? It would be a real life saver!
