A friend of mine recently got Maya 2013 and was appalled to find that physx and dmmn are absent from the package. So I wanted to ask if Maya no longer includes these plugins with Maya.If so,is there a way the plugin can be made available to Maya users?or we will have to pay for the plugin or its free?

DMM for Maya 2013 is now available though: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=20614102&linkID=9242259
Nvidia has made PhysX plug-in version 2.72 for Maya 2013 available, but you have to go to the Nvidia developer zone to get it: http://developer.nvidia.com/physx. To be honest, I don't know why this is and why it isn't available on the Maya page.
Is Craft still available? Where?
They dont have 2013 plugins and are making "changes to the business"
At best I can only speculate, but I suspect that being as these are 3rd Party Plugins, Autodesk doesn't own them or the source. Therefore we rely upon these vendors to provide use with new versions that would sync with our release schedule.
If the vendors can't provide us with new versions (for whatever reason), then there's little point in shipping a version that doesn't work with our new release.
