Project Description: Son of Nor is a Multiplayer Cooper Action RPG, which is situated in a desert world. The player takes over the role of a human mage, who has to defend his people against the overpowered Sarahul Empire. As a mage there are 3 types of magic at your disposal: terraforming, telekinesis and spells. Terraforming allows you to manipulate and permanently change all your surroundings. You can drop sand to create dunes, block entries, bury buildings, excavate secret places, and much more. In combination with the telekinesis, which allows you to freely move dynamic objects around, this offers the player a huge amount of interaction with the in-game world. The third type of magic consists of powerful offensive spells the player may cast. The magic-system has specifically be designed for multiplayer coop and allows for spells to be naturally combined together.
Technical: Son of Nor will run on PC/Mac/Linux and target the core-gamer-community. The game is playable in multiplayer-mode over LAN/Internet and allows for up to 4 friends to player cooperatively. There are several different game-modes planned, with the most important one being the Coop-Story-Mode. Son of Nor is being developed in Unity3D.
