Hello! Been a while since I posted anything here, so I thought I'd make a post of my current project. I created the highpoly based on a concept by Chee Ming Wong a while back for an article for 3D Artist Magazine. I then found it again a few weeks back and thought I'd make a lowpoly for it and texture it.
This is what I have right now:
NEWOLD
Modeled in Maya, detail pass with nDo2 and rendered in Marmoset.
I was trying to go for the Star Wars look, but the color scheme isn't 100% decided yet though.
Please let me know what you think!
Cheers!

What I assume is the cockpit canopy at the top isn't really obvious. Perhaps make it shinier/more reflective than the rest of the surrounding area?
The model could maybe use a few more warning stickers, placards, etc.
I'm not really getting a sense of scale from it at the moment, (other than what the cockpit gives), maybe the placards might help that?
Not sure how low poly you were looking to go, but I see some areas where you could shave off quite a few by using intersecting or less detailed geometry; namely the big cylinder in the back or the raised area that the cockpit sits on.
This is badass though, I really like it!
@Pierate: Absolutely, will try it! I was trying to find the concept, but couldn't at first. After some more googling I managed to find an article with the concept in it.

I've added some stuff of my own in this revision and changed some stuff, like the cannon at the back.
Thanks! Ah, I might make it more beige/tan. Either that or make the main color darker. I dunno, will play around with it.
I also added some more small detail both in the normal map (thanks ndo2) and in the diffuse. Such as decals for scale reference.
Here's what I have so far:
Please let me know what you think!

Texture and material definition is great though, just work on breaking up your values and colours better so theres some rest area
@OtrickP: I'll post them as soon as I'm done! Thanks!
@SuadK: Thank you! No, the concept was made by Chee Ming Wong.
