KIXEYE Seeks Senior 3D Artists
KIXEYE is currently seeking a talented Senior 3D Artist with a broad range of 3D skills and experience, including environments, props and vehicles.
As a senior member of a game team, the Senior 3D Artist is expected to have advanced 2D and 3D skills, both artistically and technically. The candidate will be expected to have strong knowledge of modern game engines, pipelines and processes. The Senior 3D Artist is expected to show leadership in problem solving and contribute excellent ideas in the development of the product, as well as mentoring more junior artists.
The Senior 3D Artist is expected to focus on finding solutions rather than simply identifying issues and problems. The Senior 3D Artist is expected to produce high quality assets that are both aesthetically accomplished, and technically impeccable.

Specific duties include:
- Create clean, high quality 3D assets including environment props, architecture and vehicles.
- Support the game team, creating high end, quality visual content to promote outstanding game-play experience.
- Accurately creating visual elements in line with the visual direction defined by the Project Art Lead.
- Actively mentoring, coaching, teaching and training junior artists.
- Consistently sharing and applying new industry, technical and company information within the game team and Art department and to members of the studio generally.
- Preparing assets for export to game engine.
- Consistently striving to exceed the highest quality standards of the studio.
- Demonstrating enthusiasm, drive and a sense of urgency when performing job functions.
- 5+ years’ 3D modeling and texturing experience in a video game production environment.
- Shipped titles a plus
- Extensive portfolio displaying diverse artistic skills.
- Art-related college or university degree: BA or BFA a plus
- Experience using Unreal 3.
- Extensive knowledge of Zbrush, 3DS Max, Maya or equivalent 3D software.
- Ability to take direction and constructive criticism in a positive manner.
- Experience managing, mentoring and coaching of more junior staff.
