gotta get dem feedbacks..
I've been 3d modeling for 4 years now, but recently decided that i need to learn how to draw and paint if i really want to taken seriously as a designer and artist.
my experience has been with rendering environments in cinema 4d for use in casual "hidden object" games.
im looking to get away from that type of work and expand my horizons a bit.
being able to draw concepts beforehand will be invaluable to me professionally.
I'm looking to share more of my work online (somthing i have been a bit intimidated to do) so here goes!
bring me all your honest feedbacks!!

Something that really inspired me to improve is this: http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?114449-Algenpfleger-learns-to-draw-(He-really-does!)-Sep-14th-Final-Update
Also, if you are starting out with 2D, I recommend you focus a bit on learning how to draw with regular pen and paper, then move on to tablet, it works wonders for me. Start out by studying anatomy and just draw, draw and draw!
Good luck!
You're off to a nice start with the painting, too. You have a nice sense of atmosphere and texture so far (I'm guessing that with a background in 3D work you've got a head start on surface texture!), though the picture plane itself feels a little flat so far. I would suggest doing some simple studies of landscape photographs to start out, especially stuff with a solid foreground, middle ground, and background. Just repaint what you see and that'll be one of the fastest ways to reinforce such thinking.
I look forward to seeing more of your work!
Plexico: thanks! ive been doing a little on paper but its something i need to be doing a whole lot more of.
Caelan: you hit the nail on the head with the it feeling flat. one of the things i really dont have a good grasp of is drawing basic perspective(the computer always did that for me) so my scale seems week and the depth isnt there.
I am going to be uploading some basic studys on perspective and figure drawing also from some landscape photos(they wont be pretty), but i just need to mass way more hours of drawing in the run of a week if i want to hit that 10 000 mark anytime soon.
some 3d stuff and a some messin with perspective
