Hey everyone, thought Id try my hand at some weapons/hard surface stuff. Im currently working on this HK SL8. I like its sil and unique shape. Any and all crits are welcome!
I was going to write a reason why, but I'll let someone else do that as I can't put it into words that make sense right now. But yeah, there's no need to unwrap the highpoly, since you're just projecting it onto the UV's of the lowpoly, or something like that.

Pretty much, only LP UV info is necessary for projection.

Doesn't matter, just Unwrap the low poly after?
Pretty much, only LP UV info is necessary for projection.
All you need in Xnormal is your HP and then the LP with proper UVs.
