It'll depend on what you want in terms of quality versus price. Shapeways is about as cheap as you'll get, but the amount of detail you'll get in your prints is a little lacking. Alternatively you have the service that Lewis posts on here from time to time which will give you much higher quliaty prints, but will also cost you considerably more.
yeah i got something printed from shapeways and it looks decent, but not amazing. it cost me about $50. you need to make it hollow to keep the cost down. there are some pics of it here.
what are some of the other places to check out? http://www.offloadstudios.com/core/ looks like they do good work and also i've heard good things about ownage.com but their website is kind of down. http://www.moddler.com/ looks like another option.
I own a 3d printing company. We do everything in our power to keep costs as low as possible, but the quality of the prints might not be up to what you're looking for. We primarily do prototyping, so the prints aren't showroom-quality. But they're decent.
