I recently started work on a Halo fan art piece. The idea was to create an L.A.V for the U.N.S.C that would have a similar function to the Revenant used by the Covenant. It has gone through a ton of iteration, it isn't quite there yet but I have high hopes for it. I'm currently calling it a Mobile Surface to Air Magnetic Accelerator Cannon.
I would love to get some opinions on it before I start to get serious about this iteration. Paint overs, reference or thoughts of any kind would be greatly appreciated! Some critical points I would to adhere to: it can piloted by a single person seated at the front, that it has tires and it uses some kind of MAC related artillery. Everything else is fair game!

Right now the gun looks like its just kind of sitting there, and I can't see what's underneath it. Maybe raise it up a bit, as if the mechanism underneath is able to turn and direct where the gun is pointing. It looks like if it wanted to shoot up into space, which is what MAC cannons are really good at, it wouldn't have any freedom to look up.
The curved back makes it look futuristic, but I don't know if the UNSC had anything so curvy. Everything they have looks pretty boxy.
Also, I found a few ref pictures for you to look at to see what direction you could go in for the front of the vehicle, as well as the mounting, and just to give some overall ideas. Hope this helps!! Really awesome job so far!
