GPC Games looking for 3D Artists
Galaxy Pest Control (GPC Games) is a mobile, PC studio based in Malibu, CA. Embracing iOS, Android, Windows phone, and Facebook; GPC has set its sights on the mobile/social future with a number of titles currently in production.
We are looking for talented and motivated 3D artists to work remotely. Artists will collaborate with our creative director and the rest of the team to help bring a number of exciting mobile & PC game experiences to life.
The Ideal candidate has a passion for creating and playing video games, is eager to collaborate closely with a small, tight-knit, cross-disciplinary team, and will have several if not all of the following skills.
SKILLS:
Experience using industry standard 3D modeling packages (e.g. 3ds Max, Maya)
Experience modeling in 3D (characters, creatures, objects)
Experience with traditional art (painting, drawing, etc.)
Experience creating hand-painted textures
Experience working with and creating 3D textures and materials
Knowledge of rendering pipelines
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree
Willing to work on contract, remotely
