Hey guys, long-time lurker, first time poster here.
Here's an environment I started working on not too long ago, and I've been picking at it for the past few weeks. Posting it here so that I get the motivation to crank out new and awesome stuff!

I'm basing the environment on a concept from Rayman Origins, based off of a concept by
Floriane Marchix. The eventual goal will be to display in Unreal, aiming to do a style somewhere between painted, and with some things normal mapped. I'm gonna feel out how the normal map thing goes, as I work on it.
Here's the concept:
So far I have the blockout, and I'm working on throwing placeholder textures on everything to get it all filled out before I start going into more detail. More to come soon!
