Lately i've been trying to learn how to sculpt faces, with mixed success, and was hoping for some c+c on the newest couple. Don't be afraid to rip them apart, all crits welcome, gotta learn somehow. (although I know they don't have ears yet and will sort that soon)

The first one is looking really good. Notice how you pushed in the area almost right under the center of the eye? You need to do the same thing on the second one. You cannot clearly define where his cheek bone is. Right now, that area reminds me of the lion from Wizard of Oz.

Looking good though.

Out of curiosity, how long have you spent on both?

Thanks mate, in terms of chronology i should note that the 2nd image I did before the 1st one. I hadn't noticed that area you mentioned about the eye, i'll have to make a note of it for the future.

I tried to keep them under an hour but i didn't pay attention and started enjoying myself so i can't say for sure how long they took. I'm sure someone better than me can do these in sub 20 but then they're better than i am at the moment

Looking good tho, I dunno why but the top one reminds me of batman from arkham asylum with his mask on, especially the left shot...

Looking pretty sweet, but I'd make the lips a bit chunkier/fatter (on both models if that makes sense) at the moment they seem a bit flat.

chunkier lips, can see what you mean now, the first one was supposed to be a little flat but i think i just made it flatter than the other head which was already too flat.

also i will put ears on them soon i promise :P

i think the over bite and upper lip is a bit too much. a bit too ape like. but other wise great!
