Reactor Cloth screwy??

Hey all. Trying to get a reactor cloth simulation to work... set things up based on this tutorial ( youtube.com/watch?v=h9LXT2rXwX8 ) but for some reason the cloth just scrunches into a ball when I simulate.

Any idea what I did wrong? I tried creating a new simulation in another file and it worked fine if not really slow. I need to fix this one though.

reactor is really frustrating to work with. Double check that the scene size between the working file you created and your project are the same.

My first guess would be that you first added the cloth modifier and afterwards scaled the mesh? IIRC It'll return to its original scale once you run the simulation.

I would stay as far away from reactor as you can. Just use the regular cloth in max.

No, didn't scale anything. Didn't adjust anything either. And yeah Mark, I did decide to use regular cloth. Figured out how the live drag worked too and got something that looks half decent.

Still curious how that simulation got so screwed up though.
