UDK -TV Screen in game

Hello all,
Hope you can help me out, after doing some initial research on how to get a tv screen in game.
I am a bit confused i believe it needs to be a bink video, i have downloaded the relevant software for this.
But some say you can just plug it in like a texture, whilst others say it is done through kismet. Has anyone done this that can give me a bit of clarification on how it all works. Or a link?
