Heya!

Found a very old model I did more than a year ago with unfinished texture. Did not like the old texture so I repainted everything. The model is about 4200 tris and a 512 x 512 diffuse texture is used. Got some inspiration from the awesome art in allods online and the stuff slipgatecentral made.

Wow. Massive improvement! Would be interested to see your flats too if you don't mind. So what is your texturing workflow like? Straight up Photoshop?

Thanks! here is a pic of the texture. Not so impressive. The uv was put together without much thought 1.5 years ago. I use 3d coat for my texture workflow. I find it very easy to use. Some color and sharpen tweaks in photoshop are made at the end.

Very nice indeed. A bit of advice: try to have a bit of a gradient on the body from head to toe, maybe as a light overlay, to draw attention to the upper body/face a bit more. Similar to what you did on the wings. With the horns, it looks great too, but it wouldnt hurt to have a slight AO on the base that gradually changes color to the tip. Good stuff!
