Just sayin', in the time it took to get a reply and waste a thread, you could have checked all the major art sites yourself...and faster.

I've only really heard of Unearthly as far as environments go so I didn't turn up a lot my google skills need some upgrading.

That competition is pretty similar to Polycounts competition a while back.

I only check polycount, and there is no news of any contests whatsoever on the news page or the general forum (or I missed it). Either way, I didn't miss this thread and because of this thread I discovered that not only was there a new contest going on, but also a new forum to go check out.

I am guessing that the contest and forum was probably discussed in the giant VERTEX thread. Which I admittedly haven't read through yet, so I didn't check that thread yet either. Apologies for being out of the loop!

Yup it was in that thread, and the last 2 pages of the PDF, but I can see how it might be overlooked.
