Hello everyone! I have decided, I would like to try to improve my texturing . I am going to start out by texturing, this sci fi box. And then I am going to do a tree and rocks and the something painterly, and finally finish it off with a modular texture that can be used for buildings. But anyways here is my box, that has my base colors blocked out, thanks guys!

At least your box has come a long way from the first one. Very unique shape. It'll be interesting to see the textures and normals.

The location and amount of wear and tear on the model seems a bit off too. The main parts of the metal that would get worn and knocked are the edges and the parts that stick out the most. Not sure if you have seen this tutorial but it might help:

You have a lot of plain areas on the model too, maybe break up large areas of the same material with other details or break it down into separate metal panels. Borderlands crates are a great example of this (the first one is a good example of adding wood to sci fi too):

Good luck with the work, looking forward to seeing more!
