Hi everyone, i am actually developing a racing game with Unity3D engine, and i wish i could get some help in the 3d modeling department.
I am actively working on the car physics and sadly, i have less time to work on the 3d modeling and texturing part of the game.
Getting cars for the game is not that hard, because i have 2 friends that are helping me in this section.
But our main concern is about creating Racing Tracks.
The game is already available for download, its a pre beta version available for PC and MAC.

We would be very interested to have people who could create some low-mid poly racing tracks for the game.
The final plan of this project is to make a version that will work on Smartphones and Tablets.
But before doing so, we would like to have a complete version of the game for PC and MAC.
I would like to hear feedback from you guys, if you have any comments or ideas about this project.
It is still very much a beta dev, but i think that the prject already show some potential.
Best Regards.

thank you
Thank you very much for your reply, and sorry about the delay in my reply.
I am very pleased that you wish to help with our project.
Making a Racing Track is kind of very special and very painful but would you still like to help us ?
Actually, the playability is almost done, we also have some cool cars available, but we still need to make some Racing tracks.
Our goal is about 4 Racing tracks + a long straight line to test car acceleration and top speed.
Do you have any idea where you would like to start ?
Which part exactly are you interested to model and texture ?
Best regards.
what about using cryengine 3 as it already has a very powerful physics package. Im also considering making a racing game in ce3, but im still working out how to go about it.
Basically, there is no much difference about the engine you choose.
I choose Unity because it work on MAC platform.
Both have full physics package already.
But car physics need to be programmed on top of physics package, so at the end, you have to do it yourself.
If you are completely new to car physics and have no idea on how to create one, you may be interested in this article.

Again, i am still looking for people that can help me to create Racetracks..
