Wow weird for such a built guy, wonder how that would happen to him as he looks fit almost always when he's in a movie. Maybe I just haven't seen his recent work, still makes you wonder.
Blacks, specifically men, have a statistically higher chance of heart related problems. I remember that from some first aid video I saw in my high school health class.
I loved his part in "The Green Mile". He will be missed.

He was in some less-than stellar movies. But on the whole, even some of his more questionable films weren't his fault. Loved him in the Green Mile, loved him in Armageddon, loved him in the Whole 9 Yards. It's really sad to see a talented guy like that punch the clock at such a young age. With a voice like his, he could have easily kept working in films, on TV, and as a voice actor well into his 80s. Rest in peace, Mr. Duncan.
oddly i think my favorite role of his was The Island..and he was only in it for a few minutes...but man did he make it painful to watch him go...an underrated actor for sure.

Great actor indeed, i dont always remember all the movies he was involved in but nevertheless an amazing artist.
My thought are for his family.
It could have been to do with his size. Very tall people have been known to have heart problems.

Green Mile wouldn't be the same without him.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was brought on by the same thing that killed Zyzz
Assuming hes big because he used to bodybuild.
He was awesome as the dentist on george lopez
He was great at playing the not so gentle but always genial giant, like in "The Whole 9 Yards".
