Target welding with splines??

Topic title says it all. Basically, I just want to target weld a couple of corners on a spline, but I don't see a button for it. Is there one that I'm just not aware of, or do I have to manually move the corners to where I want then use weld?

No hint on which app, must be max?

if max use the connect button and click from end to end, or weld them with a big treshold.

Or use the snap and snap to the vert + weld.

There is also the Automatic Welding option, then turn on snap and move to target..
snap is needed for precision, otherwise it uses the threshold, and fuses both verts..
