Looking to do some clay sculpting very soon and i'm just curious as to what clays people like to work with, what you find the best value for money is and where you buy it (uk). I've been using super sculpy and sculpy firm previously which were quite nice to work with, however it's quite expensive to buy. I've heard good things about Chavant clays but i've never used them.

Super Sculpey also has a firm version for really hard edged stuff if you want.
work it !!
It's oil-based so it never quite hardens. You can keep working on it forever. No need to bake or anything.
I would recommend you get the medium, or even the soft, and I find the hard one to be REAL hard. Even the medium one is a bit too hard at times, and I end up putting some pieces in the microwave to soften it up. I guess it's a matter of taste though.
