Yeah the new players to the game can be frustrating to get some teamwork going, trying to keep my patience. Wish some would atleast watch the tutorial videos, I played a match as Aliens and at one point where taking down the armoury instead of the phasegate while Marines were constanfly spawning through and killing them.
Dosen't help when the new players are stacked against a full team of seasoned players.

the competitive "im better than you" guys are so much worse than the newbies who dont know how to do anything. we had one retard talking a lot of shit saying he could do better than the commander. commander jumped out and said go ahead, win for us. the dude jumped in and recycled everything.
played my first couple of rounds today, was really enjoyable. few of the players were helpful, maps were difficult to navigate as aliens but that might be because im new haha. good job on the game!
Loving the Fade at the minute, I find him a lot more easier to play than the Fade in the original. Even without Focus I'm better than I was in the original as Fade, although I always enjoyed going Super-Skulk in the original.
Just played a few more games with a great comm and it does really bring out the best of the game when you do have a good comm that knows what he's doing.
Still a noob and played alien over the weekend, from what I played the main gripe I have is that I think the marines should have a stamina bar or something to stop them hopping around like rabbits needing a piss.
Marine movement was even worse in the original, you could bunnyhop and strafe jump so fast, that's why they removed it in NS2 and replaced it with the sprint.
Yeah doesn't stop the jumping around like a idiot though, although it's the same in most games.

Our Xmas patch is now out! Plenty of additions/fixes/optimizations, plus we have now added SNOWBALLS to the readyroom! You can lob snowballs at other players, just for the giggles.
The new one coming out in the next month or so, yeah. It's not out just yet but I've spent the past ~2 months working on props/textures for the new map that's coming out. I think you guys will like it! It's called Descent, and it's the first ns2 map set on a space station.
