All the suspension works in Blender using constraints. Move the wishbones and the suspension compresses. Turn the gearbox end of the axle and all the parts leading up to and including the wheel turn.
I'm surprised no one has replied yet, its looking awesome, I've always wanted to get a working chassis set up in softimage, stuff like this looks so fun to play around with.
Still just as awesome, I was having issues getting a few pistons to work together on a project recently. How much of the animation can be transfered to udk?
In theory all of it, just it won't run too well especially in a packed scene. Will probably end up being very simplified. (UDK does vehicles as skeletal meshes, but never worked with it)
Did a trial bake, brought it into UDK, looked awful because UDK isn't importing smoothing groups. Fought with it for an hour, can't be bothered now. After a months of working on engines where this thing isn't a problem it's hard to justify the effort

Progress update.
Lengthened/thinned the body.

It sorta turned into a dune buggy

Sorry, I didn't mean with actual driving physics, just the parts are set up to animate properly when you move them:

I would like to, however, and plan to, bake it down and export it to UDK.
Future plans:
Add seats/controls.
Add a small rollcage.
Make wheels.
Make brakes.
Add moving plates that slide out at high velocity.
Made some Hot Wheels-ish wheels.
And some rough drum brakes 'round back.
...and that's where I'm stopping.

If you know about this then my apologies. Nice stuff so far. I can see you pushing those wheels a lot more into something crazy/awesome. Keep it up.
